After a lot of hassle, I've been offered a gift card, for a free meal, to cover my loss.

I bought a to-go Thanksgiving meal, and it was all turned up on its side and spilled out in the bag I was given, and the cranberry sauce was left out. I sent a picture and details to guest relations.

They said they'd refund the meal, but the bulk of the refund money went to a gift card that was thrown away upon buying the food. There is absolutely no way to talk to anyone about this. All I've gotten is a runaround through emails.

You cannot call anyone! I'm guessing they get to pocket the money from the gift card when it's expired and aren't motivated to help the customer!

I got into an argument with the manager after he told me they stopped giving out free biscuits or corn bread before meals. I spoke with lady as I was cashing out and she said she never heard of that so I then went to confront the manager as I waited for over 30 minutes and asked 3 times and never got them because I shouldn't have got them anyway to then be told by another member in a red shirt that yes it depends on what is ordered now so she checked my receipt and verified I should have gotten that option with all 3 dinners I ordered so he and I started arguing and he said I needed to leave I said not untill everyone dining here now understands your blatantly living to customers he then said he'd remove me I told him that's assault don't touch me which he then grabbed and squeezed my arm very hard and spun me around to push me out the store I then pulled my arm away and said that's assault call the cops at which point a man came out from the kitchen got in my face yelling and screaming getting spittle all in my face I put my hands on his chest and tried to get him away from me a lil bit as at this pint I'm surrounded by staff and he sucker punched me in the face I went to commissioners office and I'm filing charges on both workers as well as looking for payment for having my tooth puncture my lip I need to hear from someone immediately or I'm getting an attorney and taking this as far as it can go I was assaulted by two of your employees inside your store and your manager Tony assaulted my first then the kid Terry dodge hit me in my mouth because I asked for distance as he was basically spitting in my face.

No help after they needed up my Thanksgiving meal

I ordered 3 Thanksgiving meals. I was told to stay in my car and they would bring it out to me.

I waited for about 20 minutes, then had to walk inside and wait another 25 minutes. Once I got home and checked the meals, all of them were missing rolls and pies. This is very upsetting since the meals were $20 or so.

I have been trying to contact them online through emails and keep getting the run around. They have not helped me at all with this matter.

Wait. You are asking to be fully refunded for all the food that you did eat?

No, you could have/should have immediately returned with the bags to show you were missing the rolls and pies. These items are premade, so it would not have been a big wait.

The cold, hard food at Port Charlotte, FL restaurant is horrible. How can you enjoy your meal when you can't eat it?

A complaint. My wife was talked rude to and swore at one of your Cracker Barrels in Birmingham Alabama.

We're on our way to Atlanta to catch a flight, we were running behind. My wife went inside to see if they could give it to her a little quicker she was told to go line in car line with everybody else.

She sat there for 45 minutes after paying he tried calling them. They're rude and the guy came out to the car swearing at her all because she wanted to try and get her food early so we can get to the airport.

A neighbor needed to rush his wife to the hospital, as she was 9 months pregnant and in labor. He wondered if he had time to stop at Cracker Barrel to get some takeout food.

I told him "Of course you do.

Just tell the employees how important you are and "what a time crunch you are under" and they will bump your order to the front and make your food first". He didn't make it the hospital on time and it's obviously Cracker Barrel's fault and he does not recommend anyone eat there anymore.

You and your wife caused this entire situation. Take accountability for your own poor decisions.

Manage your time better and if you don't know how, hire someone who can teach you basic time management skills. Don't expect to be bumped to the head of the line at restaurants.

We are all in a hurry and have places to be, things to do. You are not more important than others, especially when they were ahead of you.

Yes, when I am on my way to the airport and especially if I am running behind, I always stop and order food at Cracker Barrel. I let the staff know that I am more important than the other guests that ordered before me, because after all, I am running late for a flight.

No, that's right, I don't actually do any of that, because I do have common sense. When you are heading for a flight, you don't stop for food. You get yourself checked in for your flight and then you see if time permits to grab a bite somewhere within the terminal. What you absolutely do no do is blame others for your poor planning.

A lack of planning on your part does NOT equate into an emergency on the part of others. Do better!

Complaint about order for pies forvThanksgiving

Today is Wednesday, November 27, 2024. I had ordered two pies about three weeks ago for a holiday trip. Today, I went to pick them up and ended up standing there with no response for at least 45 minutes. They couldn't locate my order. Due to back issues, I had to sit down four or five times because I can't stand for long periods. After finally speaking to the manager, he conveyed that they had no record of my order.

I reiterated to him that I had placed the order three weeks prior and had provided my phone number along with my order details to a lady over the phone. She supposedly took all the necessary information, saying I didn't have to pay until pickup. When I insisted on paying, she assured me it would be fine to pay when I received the pies.

Nevertheless, he mentioned that there was an employee handling phone orders who was not performing her job satisfactorily. Many orders got misplaced, mine included. Despite waiting over an hour, I wouldn't have gotten my pies if I hadn't confronted the manager. Considering my age, I don't think standing and waiting in a crowded room is an appropriate way to handle a situation like this.

I was tempted to express every bit of my frustration to the manager, but reined it in. He didn't offer me any compensation for the inconvenience of waiting over an hour, nor for the hassle I encountered when trying to get the pies. This is why I informed the manager that such business blunders were causing them to lose customers. One cannot afford to make these kinds of mistakes during a holiday period. My grievance is, after sitting in discomfort due to my back issues for an hour, and waiting for someone to inform me that my order didn't exist, what compensation can I expect from them?

Meal wasn`t worth the $36.56 I paid for it

My wife and I ate at Cracker Barrel the other evening.My wife had the meat loaf dinner and I had the Friday night fish fry.Her meal was $13.49 and drink was $3.69 and mine was $15.89 plus drink was $3.49 plus a $5.92 tip. Total was $45.80 and niether meal was a $45.00 meal.

In fact my fish was 4 small breaded pieces with sides.

Terrible small portions for $15.89. Quality was ok and sides was ok but drinks was to high in my opinion for Peach flavored tea and a diet coke.The meat loaf was closer to a fair price but the fish was way out of bounds as well as the drinks.My wife enjoy eating at Cracker Barrel and do quite often but I am not sure we can afford to eat there anymore.

Then there are those that stay in a hotel, sometimes for a month and want a refund, Or someone who takes an UBER, or Lyft and wants their money back. Some women even went as far as lying, claiming the driver harassed them spexuually to get their money back.
