On September 24th (my wife's birthday) my family and I went to the Crackel Barrel in Roseville. My son received his salad and began to eat only to find a dead fly in it.

We requested the manager. My wife spoke with her, she was extremely unapologetic as well as nonchalant, not offering any other options other than a fake apology, my wife came to the car very disappointed and stated that the manager acted as if it was the norm for flies to be in food so I went in to speak to the manager and the staff showed more compassion than her.

When I asked for corporates phone number she talked over me and offered no other options. I will never step foot inside another Cracker Barrel because of this entire situation.

They should have comped (meaning, give you free salad) at the very least. Did you get another salad? Did they take the salad charge off your final bill?


Why are you making such a huge deal over one little flu? Just imagine how many animals peed on the lettuce before your son ate it.


I've found the quickest way to get a response is to either go to the companies Facebook page or Twitter account to make your complaints heard.


It's normal for bugs to accidently be in fruits & salad. Smh.


Lucky you didn't eat at a place called The Boar's Head in Canton, Ohio back in 1973.

A friend of mine was a salad maker there and he lost his finger Band-Aid in a batch.


Don't let one rotten apple spoil the bunch
